Kiip Up #39: Saying Goodbye to Cannes

Hello Kiipers!

It’s been a rewarding month here at Kiip. Let’s find out why.

Kiip Press & Happenings

Without further ado, here are our favorite links from the past few weeks:

  1. The New York Times published an in-depth piece on Yahoo’s new ad strategy. While I wasn’t a big fan of their latest move, the industry is stronger when Yahoo is meaningfully innovating, so here’s to hoping they can lead the charge.
  2. Developers, you might want to start building Fire Phone apps. Amazon is offering developers guaranteed ad rates of $6 per every thousand impressions to design apps for the company’s new smartphone. (By comparison, interstitial ads were averaging $2.99/1,000 impressions last fall.) While I’m disappointed that the offer only applies to full-screen interstitial ads, we’re always pro developers-getting-paid.
  3. Last but not least, are you Yo-ing?

Thanks for reading!
