We’re excited to announce that Allrecipes Dinner Spinner has integrated with Kiip!
With more than a billion visits per year, Allrecipes is the world’s largest social community for home cooks. It’s the digital meeting spot where home cooks discover, connect and share their culinary craft via photos, reviews, recipes, videos and blog posts.
For those who remember, we signed with Meredith Corporation in February of this year, first integrating into Better Home and Gardens’ Must-Have Recipes. Now, we’re expanding into Allrecipes to help Meredith monetize another app and enable brands to reach additional audiences.
Vasantha Kostojohn, Allrecipes’ Director of Product, discussed the company’s excitement about partnering with Kiip.
“We are extremely picky when considering what ad formats to integrate into Allrecipes Dinner Spinner. The ad solutions introduced today from … Kiip are outstanding solutions due to their ability to capture shoppers’ attention, while enhancing the app experience.”
As is the Kiip standard, users receive product samples and gift cards after milestone moments in the Allrecipes app. When users save items to their shopping list or add recipes to Recipe Boxes, purchase intents are high, meaning it’s the perfect time for brands to swoop in with relevant content. The in-app experience is never interrupted, so users continue plotting their culinary crafts after a one-step redemption.
Brands looking to engage with the coveted “Millennial Moms” generation can rejoice. Allrecipes has a high female demographic, meaning brands can advertise to an audience that controls 80 percent of household purchasing decisions. And as the holidays approach, there are more opportunities than ever to engage amateur chefs as they plan family feasts.
CPG brands might want to keep this in mind: In a 2013 study conducted by Allrecipes, the company found that 82 percent of smartphone users responded that a coupon influences their decision to place a grocery item in their cart.
