Our Partners Speak Up: What Developers Say About Kiip

Since this is our last blog post of the year, we thought it would be fitting to look back on the year at Kiip.

If you’re a developer on our network, you recently received a survey in our monthly newsletter asking about your experience. Many of you spoke out, giving us specific feedback about our services.

We wanted you to know: we listened. Here are some of the results of that survey.

App onboarding process

In 2014, we streamlined our onboarding process to be quicker and easier than ever. Now, developers can integrate their app in five minutes flat.

Well, you noticed. 89 percent of developers found our onboarding process to be very good, good or fair.

Next up

We’re not done yet! In 2015, we’re going to announce some noteworthy product innovations, building on our success from this year.

We dubbed 2014 the year of the “connected generation” at Kiip. In the Spring, we announced our partnership with Mojio, enabling us to reward users for milestone moments in their cars. Later, we imagined rewards on wearables, coming up with reward designs for smart snowboarding goggles and Apple Watch. This quarter, we’ve pushed out both a Swift-compatible SDK and a Web SDK, helping developers engage users with one solution across multiple screens. We look forward to adding new features for these platforms soon.

In 2014, we also expanded to 18 languages in 12 different countries. We’re currently looking into ways to grow further, enabling developers to monetize their international audiences with improved targeting and relevancy. Developer success means our success.

Check back in January for a sneak peek of what’s cooking in our lab. Until then, have a happy holiday season!

Rewards lead to higher engagement among users and better monetization for developers. 84 percent of mobile users say they prefer mobile rewards vs. ads, and over 3,000 games and apps already use Kiip to monetize. Learn more about Kiip at kiip.me/developers.
